主讲人简介

          Tillmann 于 2002 年毕业于南安普顿大学，获得生物化学博士学位。随后在剑桥大学生物化学专业就读博士后。Tillmann 博士在生物化学领域有18 年以上的科研学术经验，然后在过去的10余年里进入生物制剂的研发和市场开发。他在先正达、珀金埃尔默和 Abcam 等多个生物技术企业担任过商业和科学职位，Tillmann 曾在 Abcam 任职， 从私有到上市，最终担任全球技术市场总监。2011 年Tillmann 博士创立了 Biorbyt，担任首席执行官和首席技术官，他对如何将生命科学行业中的科学、电子商务、物流和营销相结合有很多想法。Biorbyt 在Tillmann的带领下自成立以来就取得了长足的发展，现在拥有四个全球办事处, 以抗体、蛋白、小分子和ELISA试剂盒为主要产品销往全球。Tillmann 热衷于为行业带来灵活友好的客户服务方式。在业余时间，他通过在伯克贝克大学攻读 PPH 的兼职学位来追求他对哲学和历史的兴趣。

 

讲座简介

什么是重组抗体，它与传统抗体有何不同？它们是如何研发和生产的？重组抗体的优缺点是什么？如何鉴定和寻找合适自己项目的重组抗体？本次讲座Tillmann 博士将针对以上问题进行详细分析和解惑。

 

Tillmann Ziegert, PhD. CEO & Founder of Biorbyt

Tillmann graduated from the University of Southampton in 2002 with a PhD in Biochemistry. He then did a postdoctoral study in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Tillmann has more than 18 years of research and academic experience in biochemistry before moving into biologics R&D and market development for the past 10 years. He has held commercial and scientific positions at various biotech companies including Syngenta, PerkinElmer and Abcam. Tillmann was a part of Abcam,  as it grew from private to public holding with his roles culminating as Head of Marketing and Technical. Tillmann, with many ideas on how to combine science, ecommerce, logistics and marketing in the Life Science industry founded Biorbyt in 2011. Biorbyt has grown significantly from its inception in his living room and now has four global offices selling antibodies, proteins, small molecules and ELISA kits worldwide. Tillmann is passionate about bringing a flexible and friendly customer service approach to the industry. In his spare time, he pursues his interest in philosophy and history by doing a part-time degree in PPH at Birkbeck.

 

Lecture Introduction

What is a recombinant antibody and how is it different from traditional antibodies? How are they developed and produced? What are the advantages and disadvantages of recombinant antibodies? How to identify and find recombinant antibodies suitable for your project? In this lecture, Dr. Tillmann will analyze and solve the above problems in detail.
